Cardiovascular Health

Studies have shown that those who practise mindfulness have improved cardiovascular health. This was achieved by positive behaviour such as decreased smoking, exercising more and an improved body mass index (Loucks, Britton, Howe, Eaton, & Buka, 2015). It has also been shown there is a lowering of blood pressure (Tomfohr, Pung, Mills, & Edwards, 2015).
